I was asked to size an R.O of nitrogen flow of 7 bar to let down the pressure to 1 bar keeping into consideration the nitrogen flow should be 25 Nm3/h. What calculation standard of R.O sizing do you recommend to apply?

To what standard will the RO have to comply with? My guess is . . . none, but you tell us.

If you search this forum you might find a download link to software that will size the RO. I remembered the link. Here it is.

Said,
Are you trying to verify the orifice sizing equation through some standard? If yes, orifice sizing equations can be found from a variety of standards. One very popular standard for orifice sizing for a variety of orifice configurations (square-edge concentric, square-edge eccentric etc.) is the following:
ISO 5167 Part 2: Measurement of fluid flow by means of pressure differential devices inserted in circular-cross section conduits running Full - Part 2: Orifice Plates
