Hello all,
Can anyone please tell me what are the consideration we take during determining the volume of a storage tank.
In my case -
I want size a storage tank for a Propane diol. Propane diol is being supplied via tanker to site and its getting stored in that storage tank.
Below are my considerations for this sizing of tank -
1. Tanker volume (Lets say 20m3)
2. Inflow & outflow rates
3. Tanker coming to site frequency
4. Contingency for any delay in tanker supply
5. If there are any constraint in unloading the tank.
I am sharing my calculation file also. Please have look and let me know what are all the things that I should consider for this sizing,
Thanks & regards,
