hi all engineers,

I have a problem with simulation an autothermal reactor in hysys for methane steam reforming project, as i have 6 reaction ( which you can find in the attachment), reactions 1,4,5,6 are conversion reactions, however i do not know how to define their conversion coefficient in hysys(as CO is produced in reaction 4 and is consumed in reaction 6). is there any reference that i can refer to it to find temperature dependnt conversion coefficient(as C0+C1*T^1+C2*T^2)?

I would be very grateful if you kindly help me.

Hello!

I didn't calculate the similar reactor, but I attached the reference. I hope it helps.

Dear Nikolai

Thanks for you file. as there were mentioned in your file, i know how to define the conversion percentage of a reaction in Hysys, my problem is that how we can define a conversion percentage for a reaction which we do not know its behavior in a definite  temperature and pressure?for example i do not know the conversion percent for H2+1/2 O2==> H2O in 45 bar and 1000c in an autothermal reactor! would you plz advise me where i can refer to get the reaction information and their reaction equilibrium constant(K) temperature dependence?

thanks in advance
