Hi

I am a third year student currently working with a group to design the decaffeination process of raw coffee beans by supercritical carbon dioxide and I have been assigned to design the reverse osmosis unit with no prior knowledge of RO previously. I have been researching with few answers and would like to ask a couple of questions:

1. What membrane material/type is best for separating a mixture of caffeine and water?

2. What array configuration is most suitable for this type of reverse osmosis process?

Thank you for reading and any help will be appreciated,

Charlie
