Hi bros ,

 

 I am a chemical engineering student and have to design a methanol-acetic acid plant , which means  produce acetic acid by methanol through methanol carbonylation. I need any data help me in material and energy balance , flow sheet ..etc

Search "acetic acid flowsheet" "acetic acid production process" in Google. Review what you find in the first 10 pages.

 

Look at your college library for  "Ullmann's Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry"

 

Try to find the book "Acetic Acid and its derivetives"

 

See if your college provides access to an online library like Knovel and scientific papers services like Elsevier. 

 

When you are stuck, as your tutor.

 

And then, if after doing that you need specific help from people with industrial experience, people here will probably be helpful.
