Hi engineers For a crud oil stabilization column, - What is the maximum of tolerated weeping ( when i must stop using the column), and its impact on the column and the products - The turndown of the column (trays with nutter BDH valves)

You must stop using it when it no longer produces your desired product.

Some weeping is tolerated without significant impact to efficiency. Figures of as high as 25% have beeb mentioned in lierature but one need to be careful especially if you are dealing with fractionation section of Crude Column. BDH valve are movable valves are expect to close at lower rates there by minimizing any weeping Typically with such valve trays you should be able to achieve 40% turn-down if the trays are welldesign
