Dear Friends,

I would like to get some advice in simulating the LNG exchanger using HYSYS model.

My model is not running, i have specified the data required. I have one stream HOT and three streams COLD. But in one stream it's hot instead of cold. As a result, the outlet temperature at the cold side becomes HOT.

I want to know what is cross temperature in LNG exchanger? and why does it happen?

I am hoping you can help me to get some ideas in this issue. Appreciate for you inputs.

The cross temperature is when the cold outlet temperature is hotter than the hot outlet temperature.

You did not specify the inputs correctly. Did you not like the help I gave the first time you asked about this or did you just not understand the advice? Leave all the cold stream outlet temperatures unspecified or all the hot stream outlet temperatures unspecified. See my previous response to your question https://www.cheresou...-exchanger-lng/

Apology for the confusion. I'm still new to this forum.

The reason I repost this question was because I couldn't find my previous post on forum, that was why I posted again the same question on this forum.

Anyway, thank you srfish and Pilesar for you inputs.
