Hi, I am currently designing a gasketed plate heat exchanger and I need to calculate the wall temperature in oder to calculate the viscosity correction factor. I know hotwto do this for a tube and shell heat exchanger but am unsure how to adapt the method I used to make it work for a gasketed plate heat exchanger. What is the area I need to use? Any help would be much appreciated.
