I am calculating a cost estimate for the equipment in the process flow diagram. One of the equipment is operating at a pressure of 45 bar and 80C. These are the correction factors:

Temperature

0-100C --->1.0

300C---->1.6

500C--->2.1

Pressure

0.01bar-->2.0

0.1bar--->1.3

0.5-7bar--->1.0

50bar--->1.5

100bar--->1.9

Should I pick the correction factors closest to my operating conditions or do a linear interpolation, even though the relationship is not linear?

It depends on the type of equipment. But, since this is not a actual project, use the closest information available.

Undoubtedly, the correction factors would be the better choices in comparison with the linear interpolation. Considering these coefficients will lead to a more precise estimation.
