dear all,

i want to know what could be the best approach to find out "relieving temperature" and other properties of the fluid when relieving pressure is above "critical pressure"

i am coming across such situations but i am not able to estimate the temeperature at the pressure above critical pressure (supercritical region).

any suggestion? Help?

regards,

There is a classic article that deals with it by Ryan Ouderkirk, in Chem Eng. Prog., August 2002, with some follow-up in November 2002. The latest version of API RP521 also gives you some guidance.
