Hello,

 

I need to build a document to serve as a basis to develop the process automation work (explaining the process, operation modes and steps, inputs and outputs). Does anyone have a template I could borrow?

       I think you are looking for basically Process Control Philosophy.

 

If so, you may include following sections in your content:

 

 

1. Project Background

 

2. Project Objective

 

3. Process Description

 

4. Process Control Philosophy ( This section you may make in Tabulated form or in descriptive formate.)

 

If you are making in Tabulate form, include :

 

Process Modes / Operation section

 

P&ID / PFD Number

 

Instrument Tag Number / Location

 

Control Description

 

Remark

 

 

Depending upon your company, Project & locality, Formate may differ. I will suggest you to follow a formate those are approved by your

 

Company / Project.
