hi!

In watering, why when partially close the end of the hose, the water comes out with more speed? and how about pressure ?

Hi ,

Consider Bernoulli equation to understand the problem . The pressure at the outlet  is the atmospherical pressure.

And the flow is reduced, too. The main cause is the reduced area resulting a higher pressure and in greater velocity through the exit. That greater pressure is converted to the stream kinetic energy, just as Bernoulli says.

Yes , the pressure is high in the reduced section ? because when the velocity is high the pressure decrease . In the outlet of hose the pressure (atmospheric pressure) is less then pressure in the hose .
