I prepare an excell sheet for control valve sizing in Excel and VBA. It has been prepared considering to reuse the code into a bigger VBA project, so I encapsulate the valve sizing into VBA object and there is an interface with excel. This is the first coding and I would appreciate to have comments and testing by other members.

Software is fully free and open but it is supplies as it is without any warranty.

What you should do, if you are really serious, is compare results with one of the free valve suppliers sizing programs. Emerson's is pretty easy to use. And we all have access to it.

Thanks for your reply and let me explain that I checked with same examples. Software from Emerson is sure a reference, however I would like to have a piece of code to include into other program and I share it, hoping that could be useful.

You might consider converting the sizing into a library once you have validated the results. That makes it somewhat safer and readily reusable. You might find some of the libraries at my website for download to be useful. Pipe table, for example. I am pleased that you made the code visible to us.

Here is a free control valve sizing program in Excel on www.industrydocs.website

The logic is accessible, and it includes documentation.
