Hi,

For my final year design, I am required to do a conceptual design study of an ethylene glycol plant. From several resources I have found that aqueous ethylene glycol go from the glycol reactor to a series of multi effect evaporators to remove the water after which it enter a vaccum water column to remove the rest of the water. I was wondering would anyone be able to help me out with the type of multieffect evaporators currently used in the industry and the process conditions. Also I am having a hard time finding any economics or environmental aspect of this technology. Was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction?
