Dear all.

I am in charge of operating and managing gas pipeline.

I have  questions about pipeline purge.

Here is my questions.

- After completing pipeline construction, we will serve natural gas in new pipeline.

  Normally, we follow up the procedures as below.

  a) pipeline completion  -> B) nitrogen purge -> c) natural gas service and compression.

  However, we will add dried-air purge to remove remanent water in pipeline.

  a) pipeline completion -> B) dried-air purge -> c) nitrogen purge -> d) natural gas service and compression.

  In this case, I am concerned about the increase of possiblity of explosion due to residual dried-air in pipeline, which pressure is higher than

  atomspheric pressure.

  My question is whether dried-air purge is appropriate measure in aspect of safety.

  And is there better way to remove remanent water in pipeline?

  thank you..
