Hello everyone,

I would like to ask you if someone could give some help with the mass balances for an azeotropic distillation process. Any example or any book in which the azeotropic distillation  is explained analytically?

Thank you in advance! :)

Hello,

Perrys chemical engineering handbook 7th edition ( 13-68 Distillation-Azeotropic Distilation). Also take a look "Design and control of distillation systems for separating azeotropes".

I checked all these books, but I cannot see any example how the mass balances are formulated for the case of azeotropic distillation, where two columns and decanter is used. Could you suggest me any other book?
