What is the definition of liquid entrainment rate in demisters? is it the flow rate of liquid in the stream that it will enter through demister ?
And what does it mean when liquid entrainment rate is equal to total liquid flow rate in feed !

Chemeng92,
Suppose you mean the demister at the top of a separator:
Yes, it's the carried over liquid flow rate passing through the demister...!
If the liquid entrainment is equal to total liquid flow rate in the feed; means no separation being performed which followed by a zero efficiency demister...!

That is either called, or is similar to, "flooded".

Yes it is top of knock out drum .
It is weird because the demister supplier in datasheet they put 99% effeciency with total liquid flow rate equal to liquid entrainment !

You can get help if you don't withhold information. We are not clairvoyant.

Please upload the data sheet...
