Hi,
I have a question, is it possible to design a heat exchanger deals with many inlet temperatures, I mean by this I need a constant outlet temperature (for example 40 °c), but the inlet temperature varies (it could take different values 10 °c or 20 °c).
If it is possible, how could we control this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Throttle the heating media.

Yes, you design for your worst case and design a control scheme form mantaining the outlet temperature.
Search for "Heat exchanger control strategy" or "Heat exchanger control scheme". There are many, depending of what variables you also need to maintain fixed and the degrees of freedom of your system.
