Dear ,
Where should we install full bore valve !?
And why !?

What I know , we need it before PZV (PSV) to reduce pressure drop in inlet line(3٪‏(
and on pipline (for cleaning purpose)
Is this right!?

And is there any other place!?

Abdullah
Thanks

Abdullah,

Full bore valve may be used in certains applications :

- Pigged Lines : to assure the pig can pass through

- Viscous fluids to reduce pressure drop

Abdullah,

In general, full bore valve  should be considered in all pressure relieving paths such as inlet/outlet lines of PSV's and BDV's for safety issues and in pig launcher/receiver for ease of operation...

Abdullah,

For liquid containing solid particles and slurry services it's better using full bore valves to avoid local plugging along the relevant lines...
