Hi, I have an exercise to complete involving multicomponent distillation. The general overview of the problem is as follows, the feed to the column in n - pentane, n - butane and 1 - butene. The flow rates, pressure and composition of the feed and the distillate and residue is known and I have calculated the temperature of the condenser and partial reboiler. I have attached the questions I am struggling with - 6 and 7 - any help or advice on hoe to tackle these problems would be much appreciated! (Calculations from section A is referring to the temperature calculated for the condenser and partial reboiler).

In "Multistage separation processes 3rd or 4th edition" by Khouri under the title "Thiele-Geddes" there is what your professor is asking.

I am sure in your college library (that if I guess correctly is Cambridge in the UK) there is a copy.
