Hello, I'm trying to simulate an split type absorber using ASPEN. anyone know how to simulate it in one absorber or should I make 2 absorber?

Note: split type absorber is an absorber that have 2 different column diameter.

Hi Alex,

You should use two separate absorbers with different diameters in series.

Kind regards,

Hello Alex,

Maybe the two absorbers are to be operated at different pressures:  the larger one runs at low pressure an the smaller one at the higher pressure.

Let the smart simulator simulate the absorbers under different operation pressures.

Best regards,
