Hello,

I want to design a kettle thermosyphon reboiler and required static head for natural thermosyphonning.

How would I start designing ?

Any suggestion ??

Obtain a text with the title "Process Heat Transfer".

Gaurav0608:

There is no such thing as a kettle "thermosyphon reboiler".  And even if there were one - it wouldn't work!  To find out why, read the book that srfish recommends.  The author is Mr. Donald Q. Kern.  Read Chapter 15, "Vaporizers, Evaporators, and Reboilers".

It is obvious that you are, at best, a student who doesn't know the difference between a kettle and a thermosyphon, so I am moving this thread to the Student Forum where it belongs.

Enjoy the book.
