Dear Sir,

1. Can any one suggest me how to calculate Gas consumption (Hcl, H2). we performing hydrogenation reaction (from nitro benzene to amine @8.5Kg pressure). i want to calculate the hydrogen consumption to finish that reaction. Consider any known reaction for the calculation of hydrogen consumption.

2. i want prepare Isopropyl alchol Hcl (IPA.Hcl). i need 20-25% assay. for that i want to use the below reaction.

                         NaCl(s) + H2SO4(aq) ----> NaHSO4(s) + HCl(g)

Hcl gas will be purged into Iso propyl alcohol (1000L) solvent.

i want to convert 1000L Iso proply alcohol to Hcl isoproponal.

please suggest me how to calculate the amount of Nacl(s) , H2SO4(aq) required to convert 1000L IPA solvent to Hcl isoproponal. or if i use the dry Hcl gas cylinder to purge into Iso propyl alcohol solvent , please let me know the how much Hcl will be consumed to convert 1000L of Iso propyl alcohol solvent to 22-25% assay of Hcl isoproponal.

your answer is highly appreciated.
