The resurgence of Futon mattress reviews has been facilitated by updating the patterns and mixing 70% polyester with the cotton.

Cotton polyester blends cover longer flagship Mattresses; enhanced usage seen primarily affecting knits

While rayon damask or polyester knit tickings Dominate mid-priced mattress assortments, there's a renewed interest among retailers in chintz covers on flagship solutions.

These chintzes are usually being positioned By retailers and manufacturers as a "cottony" alternative to the top notch polyester knits and some lower-grade rayon damasks found on mid-priced beds.

Contrary to the cotton covers utilized years ago, these Chintzes are cotton-polyester combinations in colorful, up-to-date layouts. Golding and Culp both sell chintz tickings that have 70% polyester and 30% cotton content.

Greg Barbe, manager of marketing for Sealy, Noted, "What is new is we're using chintz on flaghip bedding. We are using chintz prints selectively in the premium and super-premium Posturepedic category. The colors and patterns are a lot more interesting than the more outdated look that we've seen in the past with chintz. We are not switching through the entire lineup to chintz, but we believe there is a place for this."

Laurie Mills, product manager of bedding Earnings for Smith's Home Furnishings, an 11-unit chain based in Portland, Ore., has performed well with three chintz-clad mattresses in its forty-bed assortment.

Mills noted that the "cottony" feel Of chintz appeals to some customers who do not enjoy the "slippery" feel of knits. "It is not nearly as vital as a damask, however it is something to throw in the mix. It is a different, softer texture. People today buy the chintz mattresses since the texture like a sheet. It seems more cottony. It's not that slippery, shiny knit look" She explained.

Don Svenby, bedding purchaser for Webergs, a 20-store chain based in Denver, said, "The fashion that you get with some of the chintzes has created them function well. They have only a little more distinctive patterns." The store carries chintz-clad beds at the $499 to $799 range for a queen size.

Ted Metas, proprietor of The Mattress Store, a Two-unit shop located in West Los Angeles, Cal., said these styles add variety to the mixture of peach and blue mid-priced beds onto his floor.

"I believe you have to have a mixture of Covers on the ground. Though we've come along way, the mattress tickings are pretty dull. Together with chintz, the customer walks into the store and sees some genuinely innovative and traditional looks. I'm excited about the potential of it. In the few applications I have seen, there has been a good response to it," he explained. Mills of all Smith's agreed, "It helps make for a variety of looks. Everything isn't a sea of blue and peach damask."

Barbe of Sealy noted, "These new layouts Have enabled us to position chintz over knits. Some consumers are still hesitant about the snag potential of their knits."  http://bestfutonmattresses.com/futon-mattress-queen-size/

The company is utilizing chintzes on beds ranging from $499 queens--the peak price purpose for beds with polyester knit covers--to $999. Other producers feature chintz within their domestic product lines include Serta, Restonic and Englander.

Although Simmons and Spring Air do not feature A bed in their lines using a chintz ticking, both companies offer an range of chintz covers on a regional basis.

Ron Passaglia, executive vice president of Advertising for Simmons, noted, "I think it has potential. It has interest. I don't think that it's at the point where it's going to take over damask. It's more of a specialized department store featured thing in certain locations."

Mills of all Smith's additional. "Chintz is a great Alternative to lower-priced damasks which are sometimes stiff. They belong at the $699 to $849 range. They are not the cheapest by any stretch, but they're not the most costly. I don't feel that we would put a chintz on our most expensive beds. The customer perceives the damasks as more costly."

Metas of The Mattress Store, however, stated the Vibrant prints of chintzes and their soft "hand" make them suitable for plush mid-range to luxury bedding. "We have a bed in a floral |Monet' pattern. We tell our clients it's not just a bed, it is art. I am fond of chintzes due to the feel. It lends itself to the plusher appearing bedding, which is surely the direction the industry is going. I believe that the program is toward middle- to upper-priced beds from $899 to $1,299." Of the fifty five beds at his store, four have chintz covers.

Englander is among the matters manufacturers Using these fashion-forward chintzes on plush, luxury bedding, such as quilted pillow-top mattresses. The business recently updated its Featherest bed ($1,495) with a chintz-covered down-filled pillowtop. The company provides its own $ 499 American Spirit mattress in chintz.

President of Englander, Roger Jasperson, stated Chintz is well suited to bedding. "This is going to be the first launch at the price point," he added. "I think that it's got an outstanding feel. I think there may be a fantastic increase in chintz covers; it has got a great hand and they've been able to come up with a great deal of color"

Even though the retailers and producers agreed That there is a "cottony" or even "natural" selling story behind chintz, they expressed a few reservations regarding the newness and durability of the current crop of chintz covers.

Andy Schiffman, vice president of White's, a Five-store chain based in Columbus, which carries two chintz versions, noted, "I would definitely experiment with chintzes. I believe that the eye appeal, the soft hands, the aesthetic value of the material has a certain inherent value, but we actually do not have a track record on such product."

Metas of The Mattress Store also noted that The sturdiness of chintz when compared with damasks "is an area which gives me some cause for best queen futon mattress. Clients do not perceive them to be as durable as the damasks, but I do not actually have a background on the pay to inform you how it is going to continue." Barbe of Sealy stated while the durability of chintz is a concern, tests "have shown that chintz will be as permanent as the damasks."

One bedding executive stated the grade and Access to lower-priced damasks have improved dramatically using the chintzes. He said while It's unlikely that chintzes would replace damasks or Retail flooring, their increased usage could possibly be at the cost of the knits.

Explanation 1 (rich loading)

This describes the relation between acid gas and amine. The lean solution of aqueous amine is continually circulated to the top of the absorber where it grabs acid gas molecules and leaves the absorber as a rich solution. There is a practical limit to the amount of acid gas that can be absorbed by the amine solution as not every molecule of amine will grab a molecule of acid gas during its trip through the absorber. So if the amount of acid gas increases, the amine circulation rate (usually solution flow rate, keeping the amine concentration constant) also needs to increase.

Explanation 2 (ppmv)

ppmv is parts per million by volume. For most gases, this is commonly considered the equivalent of parts per million on a molar basis. The term 'ppm' should be qualified in order to know whether it is molar, mass (weight), or volume. Volume is often the actual measurement basis because it is reported by gas chromatographs.
