I have feed components as SBP6, mbP6,6N7,5N8,A9,A10  in Feed composition breakup. Which hysys components I should select/map it so that I will get precise results. Any guidance will be appreciated . Where I will find literature for this ?

Regards,

chetan

Those are abbreviations of groups of similar components, or of a single component:

SBP6 = single branched paraffins with 6 C-atoms

MBP6 = multiple branched paraffins with 6 C-atoms

6N7 = methyl-cyclohexane

5N8 = propyl-cyclopentane

A9 = aromatics with 9 C-atoms

A10 = aromatics with 10 C-atoms

Dear Sir,

For say SBP6, there can be variants in hysys for components. HOW TO CHOOSE CORRECT COMPONENT IN HYSYS SO THAT IT WILL GIVE CORRECT SEPARATION IN DISTILLATION COLUMN.
