Hi everyone.

I'm having trouble in starting my hysys dynamic simulation. The monitor show the error '' The pressure flow solver is unable to solve the matrix. Your specifications may be inconsistent, that is,certain variables are under or over determined.

A math error has occured in math library''

I tried a lot of ways to solve but it still doesn't work.

Can someone help me solve or give me some directions ?

Thank you very much.

Hi Halamcongtu

This message could be presented when HYSYS cannot cope with your deviation which maybe quite large. HYSYS sometimes cannot convert the model after a big impact is generated. Try to make your step change smaller or reduce your accelator to let HYSYS simulation converted.

The math error indicates that the solver came to a place it can't deal with - something like a divide by zero, taking a log of a negative number, or the determinant of a matrix went to zero.   This usually means you are overspecified, or have specified an impossible solution.
