Hi,

I am currently completing a project that requires ,e t design a network of heat exchangers on unisim. In order to incorporate heat integration I have decided to recycle some of my cold fluid outlets back into exchangers by using the add stream button in the LNG exchanger. However, when I add these extra streams the flowrate of my original coolant increases - so I need more and this obviously costs more. I don't understand why this is happening, shouldn't an extra cold flow mean I require less cooling fluid to begin with? I've attached some screenshots to try and illustrate what is happening.

Check that you aren't cooling the recycle with the refrigerant...
