Dear fallah, Existing pump is using PD pump plunger type. However exisitng is really problematic and the maintenance cost is quite high. Hence, maintenance team proposed to change from plunger type to diaphragm type. Reagrding service, flow and head, all are remaining same. Just that type is changing from plunger type to diaphragm (metering) type. I don't see any process problem. Just that process need to accept on the fluctuations and pulsation for metering pump. I trust plunger type also has that condition too

Out of curiosity, why do you say that centrifugal pumps are low in efficiency?
What flow rate are we talking about?
Anyhow, if you do use a diaphragm metering pump and are afraid of pulsation, pulsation dampeners like those from Blacoh would be suitable to dampen the pulses.

Normally efficiency of centrifugal pump lower than PD pump and likelihood to increase cable size is high. I did some survey and most of them are less efficient compared to PD resulting higher kW required and new cable

I was reading your other post. Is this the same 4cmh 30Bar pump? If so, then a plunger pump is indeed the most reasonable choice. I was thinking why is inline multistage not an option for you at first. At this low flow and high pressure, it will indeed be less efficient.
Might I suggest using triplex pumps such as those by Cat Pumps.
I have put in your parameters for a quick sizing on their website and attached it here.

If you do decide to go for diaphragm pump, hydraulic actuation might be the best way for you.
I have checked the sizing and attached their datasheet here for you.

You can read more info from their website. These pumps are suitable for main process pump duty.
