Hi,

I am Jay Prajapati now I studying a 2nd year of chemical Engineering in G. H. Patel college of Engineering & Technology at vallbha vidyanagar, Anand,Gujarat,india.

I can't decide  between job and business in this Industry

so, I think to start my own chemical Industry for any valuable product. Now that my actual  question is "what are the point or skills I learn to fulfill my Dream(means above think)."

This is not a chemical engineering question. May not even belong to this forum. And above all, what I write below is just an opinion and nothing more than that. I know that many people will disagree with me on this.

 

As Nassim Taleb said "the three most addictive things  in the world are: heroin, carbohydrates and a monthly salary".

 

So if you dream of going entrepreneurial, I would recommend you avoid anything with a monthly salary. I've seen many "I will gain experience in the industry and then go independent", including me, as to become skeptical of that path. Normally people go independent when they are fired, too old to be hired again, and then they have no other option.

 

The only skill I know on being successful in entrepreneurship (from seeing close friends and family doing it) is failing, failing, failing again and never giving up. Obviously, high IQ, formal education, understanding of the basics of your career, starting with some capital, personal charm, knowing the basics of finances help, but you see many with these qualifications fail too.
