Hello,

 

How do I calculate the radiation loss from an equipment with known surface temperature? 

Do I need to use Stefan Boltzman equation?

Yes, you also need the emisivity.

 

Just take into account that many of the formulations only have the temperature of the radiating body and do not contemplate the surroundings.
