I have Refinery CCR steady state Model in ASPEN RefSys. In calibration mode of this reactor in hysys, I am getting 6 percent error in Hydrogen balance and zero percent error in mass balance. I want to know how to find hydrogen balance in excel if all the feed and end products composition is given. What is the formula? Also let me know if there is this much hydrogen imbalance, then it is possible to get fine calibration done for reformer model? Thanks in advance. Also let me know how to confirm that given plant data by customer is correct. One way is to take overall material balance. But what abt composition of products and feed. How to confirm whether with given data, we will get right results in Simulation using hysys?

If in a simulation there is a 6 % error in the hydrogen balance then you must have made an error in your input or specifications, or there is a bug in ASPEN RefSys.
