Hi Every One,

We did material selection study for one of our project and found that we also require corrosion inhibitor injection to slow down the corrosion of piping. We selected to inject corrosion inhibitor at upstream piping of tube side of shell and tube exchanger and we want to know if we also required to inject corrosion inhibitor at downstream piping of exchanger or not. The reason for this question is that after passing corrosion inhibitor from tube bundle will it be effective for outlet piping or not ?

Will appreciate if any specif standard/guidance from process expect is mentioned for reference

Regards
