I have a general question about static equipment, when do they need recertifocation?
I am asking this general question because of a particular situation I am facing in a project. The end user have a heat exchanger in LPG chilling service. The shell side of the exchanger is a special refrigerant that is to be replaced by another refrigerant. The exchanger has been ASME certified but since long time. So, what is the standard requirement that mandates to recertify a vessel?
