Hi All,
I have a vessel in an auxiliary system of an analyser. The volume of the vessel is 250 liters.
Although the volume of the vessel is too small, but I have to perform the fire case calculation for the relief valve, because of my company guidelines.
Based on my calculations, the relief valve orifice size comes out to be 0.503 inch2 (i.e. letter 'G').
Can a vessel with a volume 250 liters have a relief valve with 'G' orifice?
The vendor has just put a poppet type relief valve on the vessel, which is non-standard and has flow area less than 'D' orifice.
Thanking you in advance for your inputs.
Have a nice day ahead.
Regards,
