 I have a mixture with the following feed:

Flow = 150 mol/s

Composition:

5 mol% water

95 mol% 1-butanol

Temperature = 93 oC

The separated product has to contain at least 71 mol% water

I need to separate, while not using distillation.

What will be an effective way to separate this?

What separation techniques are you familiar with?  I might suggest you start with a list of separation processes (this one from Wikipedia maybe? https://en.wikipedia...aration_process) and identify those processes that might work. Three possibilities that I noticed in that list were crystallization, liquid-liquid extraction, or chromatography.  Which of all those separation processes seem like good candidates to you?
