Can anyone please clarify what is "min" in PID's stands for, when specific distance is not mentioned?

It usually means direct connect or flange-to-flange or the minimum nipple length or the minimum pipe possible/practical.

Anyway, "min" in PIDs dictates the distance at a specified pipe length/elevation....should be as minimum as possible...

Hi Shantanu,
The answer remains the same 'MIN' stands for minimum distance.
It is difficult to give a reason, for specifying 'MIN' based on your snapshot P&ID.
Maybe you should post the whole P&ID for convenience.
