Hi

How to calculate relief load during Anti surge valve (ASV) fail open case for the PSV located on suction KOD of the compressor? For understanding i have attached simple sketch of my system.

i want to perform relief load calculation for PSV A, PSV B and PSV C during fail open of ASV A, ASV B and ASV C.

You can't tell which will be the governing case for each PSV without calculating the flows. It's quite possible that the ASV failure scenario will result in a higher flow than the maximum design inlet flow. Also, don't forget about backflow through the compressor itself.

Nobody can tell without a P&ID. Which includes upstream of the compressor, too.
