Hi,

I am designing small heat exchanger for bioplant.

In this heat exchanger outcoming  process flow from another process equipment heat ingoing process flow.

Temperature difference is only  ~10 C. All temperatures are 90-100C.

Process flow is mainly water with some biocomponents and flammables.

1) When is safety device needed in case of closed outlets/heat expansion ?

Is it always needed ? Can I estimate or calculate the need somehow?

Thank you ,

Best regards

Marri
