Good day gentlemen,

i do have crude oil data that i didn’t know how to input them in aspen hysys..

The data consists of different wells properties and compositions

light HCs
C7+ which i added as hypo with the available data which gives density and MW and estimated other properties

but i could understand how to input bubble point temp and pressure, GOR, and API of residual

so can anyone help explaining the methodology

thanks
regards

Hi iOM,

No need to enter GOR & API.

Composition, Is it reported in STD condition or reservoir condition or any other Separator condition.

Enter Composition values in HYSYS as per  reported conditions (Pressure & Temperature)

To get the required GOR, you have to adjust it manually input Produced gas.

Let me know ,if you need anything.

For GOR you have to simulate a dummy separator and then adjust gas flow (as required)

API will be as per composition and will be calculated automatically by HYSYS

since you different wells, need to know what proportion each well is contributing to total flow

pressure & temp. conditions need to be input as per available data
