Our RFCCU's  Amine re generator column went for shutdown for some days due to some issues in FCCU. After start-up we are facing issues in temperature profile of amine re generator. For almost same feed flow, feed temperature, Reboiler outlet temperature and reboiler steam consumption. Our whole column temperature reduces to 10-12 oC once in each 24 hours. Even our bottom temperature changes to 110 oC from 126 oC. We keep column pressure fixed at 1.1 kg/cm2. Our steam flow to reboiler is 1700-2000 kg/hr. When temperature reduces we increase steam flow by 100-150 kg/hr and temperature gets back to normal. Again in 24 hours temperature dips.

What could be the possible reason for this ?

You need to maintain a steady steam flow to the reboiler.

hi ,

To add to Bobby's comment , make sure the quality and pressure of the steam are stable .

note : No trends !

Good luck
