In our Absorber we have an Level Troll and another Level transmitter of Differential pressure type. When the vessel is full the Differential pressure transmitter shows 0% level since both it's legs are filled with solution.

Hi,

Talk to your E&I engineer to investigate the cause !

It's a field problem I believe.

Good luck

The level troll is vented to atmosphere whereas the dpt apparently has both sides liquid filled. You might want to re-evaluate the placement of the dpt so the both the inlet and outlet legs are not seeing the full liquid column. Make sure the upper leg is in the vapor space and you will see a differential.

Hi

Is it a new problem or from start up ?

Please review the doc attached for better understanding about the technology.

The LP leg should be connected to the gas head space . If you are worried about condensation , you could use a capillary which means totally sealed .

Did you talk to your vendor ?
