Hi 

 

I need help in finding constants for catalytic reactor vessel cost. I have attached a document that i want to use for this, but i am failing to find some constants or how i can calculate them that are used in the cost equations. specifically the Cp constant used in the pressure drop cost and the Cv constant used in the vessel cost.

Hi ,

If I was in your shoes, I will extract the data from the charts and then perform identification of the coefficients using the same models. if you are familiar with Excel , let you try Linest Function to identify the parameters .

Afterwards I will adjust the figures taking account the year the document was published versus today using the CEPCI information .
