I have a reciprocating pump that needs to pump a chemical at two different tanks at the same time but at different dosing rate. Is it possible to achieve this with a control valve? Is it vulnerable to damage in this configuration? What's the standard way?

One way is to create a header using a PT and CV that spills back to the source tank.  Then, use the destination(s) weigh cells or a flow meter and a CV for each destination.

Don't be cheap. Provide 2 dosing pumps. And a spare if necessary.

Hi,

You should consult representative of Pulsafeeder , Lewa or Milton Roy .

Load cells or weigh cells on each chemical tanks  associated with PLC to calculate the mass over time  are also an option .
