Hi All

I am new to the forum and am looking for some expert advise. I have a customer who is looking to pressure test a 16" pipe line with a fluid volume of 364,877 liter. We need to pressurise the pipe to 329 psi. and hold the pressure for an 8 hour test period. The test pump I have is a hydratron DHDA33 model with a max flow rate of 31 l/min and a MWP of 6728 psi. The pipeline will be prefilled with water and the pump then connected to pressurise the pipe.

What I need to identify is the estimated time it will take to build up the pipeline pressure to 329 psi using the pump above.

Your help would be greatly appreciated

Kind Regards

Robert
