We have a air blower for transfer of biomass into a cyclone then into a lock hopper followed by a surge hopper connected to a reactor via a screw. The gas in the reactor is hydrogen. However the valves between cyclone and lock hopper and lock hopper and surge hopper passes and there are chances of hydrogen back flow. Although there is a nitrogen purge to the screw to Prevent this. How can I prevent this hydrogen back flow through these passing valves?
