Two members (darkweblinks and vasmono) are using these forums only for advertising products unrelated to chemical engineering. I am concerned for the future of these forums if such activity is not stopped. I post this to get the attention of whoever is able to remove these members. I have been unsuccessful getting a response from site administrators through other means. What is the best way to contact someone actively involved in administering this site?

That makes three of us.  I have been unsuccessful getting a response from site administrators through Personal Messenger too.

When I clicked on the first darkweblinks post a few months back, I recall my browser acting strange and my Kaspersky flashed a warning!  I immediately disconnected from the internet, updated my Kaspersky, and scanned.  Luckily, no harm done.

That, is what I was trying to report to Admin, but no response in months.

I too am very concerned for the future of these forums if such activity is not stopped.

Interestingly, I had the same concerns for a different engineering forum about two years ago.  My concern got so great, my partner and I started  http://www.simpliengineering.com.  SimpliEngineering is run on state-of-the-art, open-source, Discourse software that is kept evergreen by a community of Discourse programmers.  It is a well run engineering forum that does not tolerate off topic advertising and spammers, and we have an arsenal of tools to enforce that.  So, if you are tired of spammers, or just curious, come try out SimpliEngineering and see if you like it.  PM me when you get there and let me know what you think.

Did anyone ever hear back from Art based on the forum post from a couple of months ago?

Sees like the website is being mothballed...

Last time I PM’d Art was March 20, 2020. Today, that message still indicates he has not read it yet.

To me, the advertisements seem to be trending towards more and more risque, and less and less engineering topics.  Anyone else notice this?

Definitely true, Latex. I've been away from ChE Forums for quite some time. No one from Admin crew (Chris Haslego, Ankur, Art) answered my PMs. The site is either let go (away), or there is something more sinister to it.

Maybe one should try connecting with the Admins on networking platforms like LinkedIN.

#Just a suggestion.
