Dears,

I'm supposed to define the heat curve of a condensing fluid in HTRI with different pressure.the properties is as the following:

As you can see the vapor fraction is one for the first three points, so there is no liquid properties in these points.But the HTRI is undefined for liquid properties for the points without liquid and I don't know how to define these properties.Please guide me for this purpose.This is my HTRI image:

Thank you in advance.

You need to ask for more information from the client, at least two different pressure profiles for the condensing section, or generate new properties yourself.

Thank you for your reply.

I think that the properties is complete in thermodynamic point of view.When temp is in range of 90.9 to 83.7 all components are vapor,therefor we don't need the liquid properties.So I should be logically  able to define a set for pressure of 1.4  bar without liquid properties. :unsure: :unsure:

Since you defined the fluid as condensing, HTRI expects the fluid to be condensing and needs liquid properties. Extend the curve to include condensed liquid. Use the liquid properties at the dew point to fill in missing data.

You need;

At least two pressure profiles (so 1.4 and 1.3 barg in your case), containing:

Minimum one superheat point

Minimum one subcooled point

Multiple points spanning the two-phase region.

This is direct from HTRI's training.
