Hi,

For a column control scheme of TDIC (temperature differential controller) linked to reflux flow controller, why would increasing TDIC (temperature differential controller) set point causing the reflux flow rate to decrease?

What is the transient operation behind this?

Can anyone helps to explain this...thanks.

The behavior is because the controller is designed to respond in this manner.
