Does anyone know why my simulation is saying

***SEVERE ERROR
THE LIGHT KEY COMPONENT IS NOT PRESENT IN THE FEED. BLOCK BYPASSED

I have tried several things but nothing is working

Your question is minimally descriptive. My guess is that you are trying to solve a shortcut distillation unit and you don't have any of the light key component in your feed. If that is correct, then either change the feed or change the light key component in the block.

Change the feed as in the stream going into the column? or S1 from the beginning?
Coursework has specified benzene has the light component so I cannot change that

We have no idea what S1 is, right?  You have not shared any real information.  Did you define your components?  Did you define the feed?  Did you define the light key as something besides benzene?  How much benzene is in the feed in Aspen, not the problem statement.

Going into the column, there is 0.5 benzene and 0.5 toluene.
I have defined my components and everything. I have defined the light key as benzene

Are the streams connected to the blocks where they should be?  There must be 50 ways Aspen errors can happen.  On the left file structure, do you have anything besides check marks in a blue circle?  Yellow is not good and red is bad.

Yes all streams are connected correctly and all check marks

It may be time to utilise the teacher's office hours for some assistance.
