Hello everyone,

I was curious if anyone knew of a good formula, equation or method to determine the tank pressure at x amount of seconds after a tank begins being pressurized and vented at the same time. (Pressure accumulation)

Scenario:

Tank being pressurized with N2 while it is being vented on the other end of the tank. Curious about the pressure accumulation after a specific amount of time.

Rough values:

Volume = 3 ft^3

Pressure source = 1,600 psig

Inlet orifice diameter = 1/4"

Vent orifice diameter = 1/4"

Cheers,

Blake

I don't disagree, but I'm just trying to get a ballpark idea to help determine some instrumentation
